Clarice, my first dogue will always be my most special, I know it's not right to have favourites, but....she was the start of my having all the dogues, the start of showing, of making new and good friends and having lots of fun...I have of course forgotten about the hard work, the mess, the lack of holidays and the great expense, but I would not change a single thing.
Clarice is a very feminine dogue and typifies the breed,  she is a great character and gets on really well with all the other dogues/dogs, she gets on especially well with ‘Wonkey’ our most naughty cat, she spends hours washing him, which he loves when she has finished he is soaked in drool, yuk!!!
Clarice has never been shown, not because she is not worthy of being in the ring, but I never gave it any consideration, she was just "my girl", when I was advised to show Humphrey and Muriel I put all my effort in to them, I felt it was too late to start with Clarice.
Clarice has produced two wonderful litters, I hope this is repeated in her third and last litter.  I am so proud to have her as the foundation to Wolfram Dogue de Bordeaux........!!!
