Maisie was probably the naughtiest of all the five pups, but also the most affectionate.
If
it had been chewed it was bound to be Maisie, if the cats were running hell for leather
around the house it's bound to be Maisie chasing them, it was always Maisie, well
even if it was not her we always thought it was!! Twice every week with her siblings
she goes to ring craft, not to learn, oh no not Maisie, she has been known to run
amok distracting all the good dogs and trying to get them to play. One of the first
shows she went to was legendary, she pulled me all around the ring sniffing all over
the grass and trying to distract her sister who was in the same class as her, as
well as all the other dogues who were standing beautifully, I felt a real fool. Well
how the worm has turned with a few lessons in obedience and a little one to one,
she is now the exact opposite of how she used to be, at the Birmingham show she walked
in the ring like a real pro, the other exhibitors said it was not the same dougue,
well it definitely was. Maisie qualified for Crufts at the Paignton dog show, she
got third in a large class. She is a real reformed character, a pleasure to own (now,
:-)). Maisie is the biggest of the girl pups, she has a really deep chest, a lovely
head , good bone type and substance and a level top line. In the future after she
has been hip scored I think Maisie will be a real asset to our breeding program.
