Unfortunately, as with all heavier breeds there are health issues that from time to time come to light, this is not to say that all of these dogs gets these issues, but they are ones we need to made aware of!

I have listed health issues that have been know to appear in the breed, I hope you will find them useful, especially if you are experiencing problems with your DDB, or you are looking to get one.  Knowing of these issues should help you with the questions you may ask a breeder before you decide where to actually go for a pup.
